on-site SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Expert Safety Leadership for Your Worksite

Experienced occupational safety and health professionals who integrate seamlessly with your team to manage safety and health operations at your worksite, whether for a higher-risk work task, the long-term absence of the site’s EHS professional, a plant-wide maintenance shutdown, or a short-duration or long-term construction project.  Keystone can provide your worksite with an onsite EHS professional to offer guidance, leadership, and even full management responsibilities.

Site Safety Directors

Our most experienced safety professionals…our Director-level staff can develop project-specific Health and Safety Plans or write comprehensive safety and health policies and procedures.  They can assist in identifying complex hazards and potential exposures.  More importantly, our Site Safety Directors can implement the necessary programs, develop appropriate mitigation plans, and direct the site’s EHS Management System to mitigate risk.  Directors provide professional leadership for the site’s EHS efforts, while simultaneously offering management oversight and mentoring to less-experienced safety professionals.

Site Safety Coordinators

Our safety coordinators are experienced safety professionals who work under the direct supervision of a director.  Fully versed in all applicable compliance requirements, they are perfectly positioned to ensure adherence to the worksite’s HASP or EHS policies.  They perform onsite work observations and site safety inspections in order to identify unsafe behaviors and unsafe conditions.  Most importantly, safety coordinators can identify, and stop, unsafe work practices before an incident occurs, as well as provide coordination of work activities to reduce risk.

High-Risk Task Planning

Many worksites will eventually need to perform a work task that they consider to be “higher-risk”.  Perhaps it's a critical crane lift, a confined space entry, a cleaning operation using flammable solvents, or perhaps a commercial diving operation. Regardless of the type of higher-risk task, Keystone Safety Services can assist in planning the work to mitigate the risk!   We use our most experienced safety and health professionals to thoroughly assess the hazards that may be incurred and to meticulously plan a safe course of action.  We also offer professional oversight and management for these critical operations.

Property Owner Representation

If you are the property owner hosting a higher-risk task or a construction project, you will incur liability risk.  Should a serious injury or other EHS-related incident occur on your property, it will likely be your company name, and not the contractor’s company name, in the headlines.  You will also likely be named in any litigation that occurs as a result of the incident on your property.  To help the property owner reduce their risk of liability and litigation, Keystone Safety Services offers “owner’s representation”.  As an “owner’s rep.”, we keep the owner apprised of any non-compliant or unsafe work practices, allowing the owner to stop unsafe work before an incident occurs.  The service provides the property owner with the oversight needed to protect the owner’s interests.
